I love video games, they take me into a fantasy world to get away from everyday problems. To me, its like a book, you go on a journey and you have control over your character. All of these games are on PlayStation 2. i am a PlayStation fan, always been ever since it first came out. I will be a PlayStation fan until the end of time. Some of these games have an M rating standing for mature. Also, some of these video games are VERY violent and even though I do not condone violence in the real world and I would not let a child play some of these, I feel that as long as you have a healthy mind you can handle some of these stories that are placed in video games. I am not going to feel sorry for liking violent video games because that is who I am. I also know that I would never do these acts in the real world, but it is fun to pretend at times. With that said, on to the video games.

1. The Dog Island - You are a dog, which you can pick your breed, and you have to either save your brother or sister from a rare disease. It is sort of like a Sims game, where you run around, talk to people, sniff things, and try to make your way through worlds in search of various items. I think this game is a blast and it is appropriate for all ages, or at least people who can accept the fact that there is life and death. It is not an overly hard game to play it is quite easy, but can be very time consuming.

2. X-Men Legends and X-Men Rise of Apocalypse - I am a fan of the X-Men and with various women characters you can play, I think these are very good games. You just pick four different characters from a list, go to different worlds and beat up the bad guys. You destroy objects to get goodies and solve puzzles.

3. Spyro - I love all the Spyro games except for maybe the last two. Most of the Spyro games you play as a little purple dragon named Spyro with your sidekick Sparx the Dragonfly. You go to different worlds and pick up gems, defeat bad guys, and do mini games to save the world. Now, in the last two Spyro games, you don't find gems, you just go around and beat the bad guys. In and of itself they are not bad games, but don't compare them to the other Spyro games. I really enjoyed running around and collecting gems. Sparx is a comedian that makes the game fun and some of the graphics are amazing.

4. Final Fantasy X - I fell in love with this game the first time I played it. You control Tidus who get sucked into another world and you have to help Yuna and her guardians to defeat Sin and save the world. For half the game, you know that Tidas and Yuna have the hots for each other and you can feel the tension. Finally, about the middle of the game, there is a wonderful love scene that is just beautiful. Yuna is concerned with her abilities in able to defeat Sin and Tidus is upset because Yuna has to sacrifice her life in order to defeat sin. They are in a pond with fireflies around them lighting up their faces and they are talking. Finally, the music kicks in and he kisses her. Then I am guessing they make love because you see them kind of falling in the water and making the love motions only fully clothed. I love that scene. The ending is sad though, but other then that, the game is wonderful.

5. Final Fantasy X-2 - You control Yuna, Paine, and Rikku looking for treasure and beating the bad guys. Plus Yuna is searching for Tidus. I love this game because the characters are all female, plus you have various outfits to wear to power them up and do different things. I think this is one of the best games there is. Plus they make reference to Charlie's Angels in it a lot, you know, three women posing and kicking butt. This is a must for anyone who likes playing video games. There are multiple endings, the sucky one (which is really bad and depressing), the medium (which to me still sucks), and the good ending (which is OK but I was hoping for something else).

6. God Of War 1 & 2 - I know this usually is more of a man's game, but I like it because it is violent and bloody. You play Kratos, a man who kills his family accidentally and feels bad and then eventually becomes the God of War and then gets bumped off of his throne so he goes after the other Gods for revenge. It can be frustrating at times, but I think it is filled with action and the endings aren't too bad at all.

7. Devil May Cry 1 and 3 - I didn't include 2 in here because it wasn't my favorite compared with one and two. You play as Dante, who is part devil and part human. You basically go and save the world from the bad devils. I like these games because it is full of action and I also think Dante is just too hot. I mean, some of the graphics are so good he looks like a real man and if you beat the games you can play as him without his shirt on, I mean....damn. LOL.

8. Sims Series - I like all of the games in the Sims series. You get to make your own person and you go through life. In Sims Cataway, you get stranded on a deserted island and you have to make your way off the island. Now the puzzles on that game can be confusing at times, but you can talk to monkey's so, that makes it better. I also like Sims 2 Pets, not only do you create your own person, you get to have animals that you interact with. I mean, how cute is that? Cats are easier to take care of, but you have to get a dog to. You can also buy a whole bunch of stuff for your animals to open up more stuff. I don't think there is an actual ending to Sims 2 Pets, just something to play for fun.

9. Lego Series (batman, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars) - I love playing with Lego's. These games are fun and for all ages because when you die, you just assemble yourself and continue on. You can play with different characters and collect items, and it can be addicting.

10. Marvel Ultimate Alliance - I LOVE this game, you get to pick four Marvel heroes and go kick the crap out of bad guys. This is really similar to the X-Men games, but I find this one better because you can play as Elecktra in it and if you get her maxed out on stats she is the best player in the game!

11. Playboy Mansion - I know, I know, but just hear me out. Yes, you get to see cartoon fake boobs in the game, and you play as Hugh Hefner. But this is a Sim's game. You get to build your empire from scratch. Not only do you throw parties, but you get to interact with people and you get to take the centerfold picture and there are options for clothing on there. But you also get to have sex, which basically shows a topless woman on top of you jumping up and down moaning, which is just too funny to watch. But it also raises your mood and you can get the woman to pose for you to make money then. It is actually a pretty hard game because there is a lot of things to do and to keep up on.

12. Justice League Heroes - as you can tell, I have a theme here, but I like this one as well, kind of like the X-Men and marvel games. You get to play as different characters but the game chooses which two characters you can play as. It is not a bad game and there are some funny lines in it. Superman makes fun of Batman in it and I laughed so hard I thought I was going to pee myself. Overall a great game.

13. Mortal Kombat - I like all the Mortal Kombat games, my favorite character is Sindel or Frost. It seems I can kick some butt with those two. You just basically go head to head with someone else, beat the crap out of them and then get to see the ending. Some of them are pretty graphic, but that's the point of the game I think.

14. Star Wars Battlefield 1 and 2 - I didn't think I would like these games, but they kick butt. I mean you can play as a wookie or one of those robots that can roll up into a ball and then shoot things. I am actually pretty good at these games and its fun playing with someone because then you can scare each other. LOL.

15. Big Mutha Truckers 1 & 2 - Yes, this is a true redneck game, but I like car games. You pick a character (i always pick the girl) and you drive from place to place, buy things and deliver them to other places to make money. Whoever makes the most money after a certain number of days get to take over their mom's truck company. You do a lot of driving, but I think the games are really fun. Plus some of the conversations you get to have are just to funny. Oh and of course you drive a big rig.

16. Dark Cloud 1 and 2 - You play as a kid who has to find pieces of towns and put them back together. This is sort of hard to explain, but its kind of like an action Sims game. You beat the crap out of bad guys but then you also have to put different towns back together the way they were by reading clues. Trust me, its fun.

17. Dog's Life - You play as a dog who has to rescue his girlfriend and save the day. You run around and sniff things, interact with people and other animals, find goodies, all in all a VERY cute game. I love this game. The game really makes you believe that you are a dog. The whole time you have to stay away from the dog catcher and some of the mini games are a little hard, but I think its worth it.

18. Spiderman - the reason why I like this game is because you can climb up on the tallest building and jump off. My stomach flips every time I do it because I actually feel like I am falling. The point of the game though is to complete the actual story mission, side missions, and find different tokens to get 100% completion. The game itself isn't too hard, some of the side missions are horrible, but I just like jumping off the buildings, tee hee.

19. Grand Theft Auto Series - I like these games because you can steal cars, beat people up, pick up hookers, and just run around like an idiot. Yes, this series is very violent and I wouldn't do this in real life, but I enjoy playing it.

20. Harvest Moon - there is a couple of games in the series. in some of them you try to get a wife while you take care of a farm and fish. You plant your own crops, build your own house, take care of a dog, horse, sheep, and cows. Plus interacting with the town folk so you can get on their good side. The whole point is to make sure you do a good job to either save the town or just be a good farmer. This is a very time consuming game which I recommend getting a walk-through. After you get the basics down and understand what you are doing, it is a very fun game. But there is a lot of information to obtain and memorize, so not only is it like a Sims game, you have to use your brain. A very good game to enhance your brain skills. Recommended for everyone.

21. Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 - You play as Sora who have to defeat the heartless of different Disney worlds with your sidekicks Donald and Goofy. You get to play in different worlds such as Tarzan, Nightmare before Christmas, meet the Disney princesses and save the world. It is a very cute game and I love playing both of them.

22. Jaws - I love this game because you are Jaws! I couldn't tell you what the point of the game is because I haven't beaten it yet but you get to eat people and be the shark everyone fears. It is a completely awesome game, but the controls are a little hard to get down.

23. Grand Turismo 3 & 4 - these two games are race car driving games, but the different cars you can drive are unreal. I am really good at car games and I love racing on the different tracks.

24. Indigo Prophecy - this game is like no other and is hard to explain. First, you are a guy who is possessed by some cult and you start out in a restaurant bathroom and you just end up killing a guy but don't remember doing it. The whole point of the game is to keep one step ahead of the cops in order to find out what is going on and to clear your name. You have to cover your tracks, such as hide the bodies, wipe up evidence all so you have a few extra seconds to escape. All battles are a series of button sequences so there is no actual fighting in the game, you just have to push the right buttons. It is a very dark and intelligent game because you have to think like a criminal in order to make it out alive. I would check this one out.

25. Urbz Sims in the city - you play as a Sim and you have different places to go to get your popularity up in order to move on to the next one. You have to dress like them, act like them, and meet certain objectives. You actually get to play the job you choose to make money by pushing different buttons in time. I really like this game because you can play dress up, meet friends, become popular, and at the end of the game you get a machine to make money for you so you can play around and do whatever you want.

26. Primal - this game is very Gothic, you play as a woman with a gargoyle as a side kick. This game is full of puzzles and you have to use your brain to figure out how to beat each puzzle with yourself and the gargoyle and kick some butt. Good for the brain!

27. Leisure Suit Larry - basic plot is you are a college man who is trying to get laid. I find it funny because Ron Jeremy is in it as the porn fairy wearing a pink tutu and a pink dildo for a want. You also have Sweetwater the pimp who shows up. You get into some very interesting conversations and mini games. Overall a fun game if you have an open mind.

28. Resident Evil - I like the series, but I really love Resident Evil 4. Mostly because I think Leon S. Kennedy (the character you play) is majorly HOT. I like shooting zombies and getting the crap scared out of me. It is a good game, check it out!

29. Twisted Metal Series - you pick a vehicle, and then shoot the crap out of other vehicles to win in order to get your ultimate wish. My favorite character of all time is Sweet Tooth. He is the sadistic killer clown with fire for hair. He drives an ice cream truck. Twisted Metal Black is probably the most disturbing of them all, but I love it.

30. Bloodrayne - I really like the character Rayne, who is half vampire, half human. She hunts vampires and tries to rid the world of evil even though she herself sucks blood.

31. Hitman Trilogy - you play as Agent 47 and you are a Hitman. You not only have to use your brain on these missions, you have to have skill as well. You must disguise yourself in order to sneak in in order to eliminate your target without getting caught. Your adrenaline will be pumping for sure, but once you pull something off, you feel like a God. LOL.

32. Tekken - just like Mortal Kombat, you pick a character and beat the other players to win. My favorite is Nina Williams, she is my girl.

33. Tomb Raider - Lara Croft kicks butt and I just love her games. You get action, puzzles, and just plain fun the whole way. I would think by now everyone knows about her so I won't explain further.
